Fans slam Sanju Samson for another flop performance during 2nd T20I against Bangladesh

Netizens slammed Indian batter Sanju Samson for his another flop performance during the second T20I against Bangladesh. On Wednesday, October 9, India hosted Bangladesh in the second T20I at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in New Delhi. After recording a win in the first game of the series, Suryakumar Yadav and Co. entered the field with an aim of dominating the rivals and winning the series 2-0. The match saw Bangladesh skipper Najmul Hossasin Shanto winning the toss and inviting the hosts to bat first.

Sanju Samson, who has been opening in the series, once again failed to make his mark with the bat. Samson walked back after scoring just 10 runs off seven balls with a combination of two boundaries. Soon after his dismissal, Abhishek Sharma and skipper Suryakumar Yadav were also forced to walk back as India were restricted to 41/3.

This flop performance of Samson didn’t go well with fans and they took to X to slam the batter for missing another opportunity. Notably, in the first match of the series, the RR skipper could manage to score only 29 runs.

As of writing, India were batting at 101/3 by the end of the 10th over.
