Former India cricketer and World Cup winning captain, MS Dhoni brought in his 43rd birthday on Sunday, July 7 in Mumbai, alongside his wife Sakshi Singh. The stalwart of the game, who called down curtains to his decorated career on August 15, 2020, turns 43. While he remains the only Indian captain to lead the side to three ICC trophies in white-ball format, is currently is in Mumbai as he was spotted at Anant Ambani-Radhika Merchant’s wedding festivities.
Just a day after attending the sangeet ceremony of Anant and Radhika, the legend brought in his 43rd birthday and got a surprise call from Chennai Super Kings (CSK) captain and teammate, Ruturaj Gaikwad. Although, their conversation is not to be found anywhere, but the young CSK skipper took to Instagram story to share a picture video calling the great of the game.
Gaikwad, who is currently in Zimbabwe, touring with Team India for a five-match T20I series against the Sikandar Raza-led side, was also joined by Mukesh Kumar and CSK bowler Tushar Deshpande. Moreover, in another Instagram story, Gaikwad, who was pictured along with his wife and MS Dhoni, captioned the post, “Happy birthday to Our very own the only THALA 💛 Always grateful to be able to spend time with you 💛”.
