The World Cup co-hosts have named Kyle Mayers as the replacement for King in their squad.

After losing their Super 8s opener against England by eight wickets, West Indies defeated the USA by nine wickets to boost their net run rate and go above England in the Group 2 standings.

On the second ball of the fifth over bowled by Sam Curran, King came out of the crease to play through the covers.
